The Department
The Academic Administration Department at the University of West London is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to students throughout their academic journey. Our team of experienced administrators is here to assist with a wide range of services. Located at both the Ealing and Brentford campuses, our department is committed to fostering a supportive and organized environment, helping students navigate their academic responsibilities with ease.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the core professional administrative team within the fast-paced Academic Administration department at the University of West London.
You will provide essential, specialist, high quality administrative support for the Academic Schools/Colleges and deliver a range of core activities throughout the student journey to enhance the student experience. You will cover a range of duties for the courses you are responsible for: from supporting induction and enrolment to tracking student engagement, preparing and holding assessment boards, providing detailed advice and resolving queries for both academics and students, and minuting meetings.
You will be expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills and build positive and effective relationships with the wider University community, students and stakeholders including our external bodies.
The Person
The successful candidate will be an effective communicator and team player, able to prioritise their workload whilst maintaining strong attention to detail and have a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
Successful applicants should be educated to degree level or equivalent, have previous administrative experience, ideally in HE, and able to operate multiple IT systems.
