Outreach Coordinator (12 Months FTC)

The Department 

This post sits within UWL’s Recruitment and Customer Relationships Team which is responsible for the University’s UK student recruitment and outreach activity and for supporting prospective students from initial enquiry through to enrolment. The Team is part of the Marketing, Recruitment and Communications Department which also includes the Communications and Events, Campaigns, Digital and Admissions Teams.   

The Role  

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Outreach Team, supporting the development and implementation of our widening participation projects, as led by the University’s Access and Participation Plan (APP). The role will be based at our Ealing site in west London and involves working some weekends and evenings, as well as travel to deliver projects and activities in our local areas, and our APP target areas.   

The Person 

We are looking for a team player with a passion for widening access and working with local communities, with experience of supporting a small team and working within higher education or similar. You will have excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills, and will take a flexible, proactive approach to your work, with the ability to work independently.
