Volunteering and Civic Engagement Coordinator

The University of West London (UWL) has climbed several places to become one of the top 30 universities in the UK, according to the influential Guardian University Guide 2025.

UWL is now ranked 30th in the UK and the ranking reaffirms our position as the top modern university in London and among the top three modern universities in the UK.

We were also named University of the Year for Student Experience and Teaching Quality in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2023, being described by the editor as “regularly among the top-performing universities” and proving that “it is possible for a London-based institution to achieve outstanding levels of student satisfaction beyond other universities”.

*University status awarded in or after 1992

Over the last few years more than £150 million has been invested in our campus to create an inspiring social and learning environment for students. As well as modern social spaces and a new library, UWL is ‘jam-packed’ with specialist facilities.
