You’ve built up a strong reputation in the world of Economics

When it comes to things like National Policy, International trade or how behaviour influences Economics, nobody “gets it” like you do.

Perhaps you’ve been thinking about where to go from here, or perhaps the long hours on your projects are starting to weigh you down.

There has to be another way. Right?

How about passing that knowledge onto the next generation?

We’re seeking an economics expert to join us as a Lecturer in Economics.

You’d be responsible for the teaching, assessment and curriculum development of under/postgraduate courses for marketing; including things such as:

  • Developing your own teaching materials
  • Supervising Dissertations or industry/consultancy projects
  • Membership and contribution to assessment and exam boards.
  • The students you teach will then provide management consultancy to business and other organisations as part of their assessed coursework. This has been fantastic in the past with many businesses coming back to us time and again for our students.

Now, you’re probably reading this and thinking something along the lines of “I can’t teach, I haven’t done that before!”

We can help with that, how does a paid for postgraduate course in teaching sound?

How about the chance to make a definitive impact on our student’s future careers?

There aren’t many things more rewarding than teaching and helping our students move on to amazing things, and we’re certainly good at that, we’ve produced alumni such as Freddie Mercury, Claude Littner and Pete Townsend.

You could end up teaching the next big name!

So, where could you be working?

You’d be working in “The Claude Littner Business School” a leading provider of business education in London. Our approach to teaching and learning is student-centered and employability-focussed, making good use of real-world applications and experiential knowledge.

The Dean of the School runs a tight ship and is keen to bring individuals of your talents in so our students have the very best teaching on offer.

That’s why we need you. Industry experience is highly valued here at UWL and you would be joining many former industry players who have taken the teaching path. There is no one better to learn from than someone who has mastered the industry right?

There isn’t a better time to join the University of West London, so apply today to take the next step in a bright new career.

Everyone will get a response.

Oh. And you can read one of the Dean’s Economics papers here to give you an idea.

The closing date for this job vacancy has now passed, and applications are no longer being accepted for this position
