We are looking for a full-time and well-qualified academic member of staff at an associate professor level to join our team in the Computing and Computer Science subject area of the School of Computing and Engineering. 

The successful candidate will have a well-developed and established track record in high quality research with expertise in at least one of the main computer science related subject areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing and Data Management. You are particularly encouraged to apply if you are an inspirational and dedicated academic with a passion for learning and teaching, research and supporting students. 

The post holder should be an excellent communicator who can relate to colleagues easily with an internationally recognised research and scholarship profile.

The successful candidate will be an active academic engaged in fostering a vibrant research culture in their area, and will contribute to delivering the University’s research targets.

Successful candidates must have a PhD in a relevant field and have an established track record of publishing high quality research outputs and securing external funding for research and scholarship projects and activities.
