The Department - 

The role of the Timetabling team is fundamental to both the operation of the University and the experience of students. The team interacts with all Schools and Departments.   

This is a key role in the Data Operations department.  The successful candidate will be required to deliver the University’s academic Timetable and undertake all aspects of the planning and operation of the production of personal timetables for students using appropriate technologies to collect and validate data from stakeholders to ensure high-quality service. 

The Role 

Operational responsibility for all aspects of the production of the timetable for students and staff for allocated schools/departments.

The role is based Paragon House, Brentford. 

The Person 

We are looking for individuals who are flexible, proactive and approachable coupled with excellent inter-personal, negotiation and communication skills. Excellent IT are also essential.  

The successful candidate will have experience of timetabling, preferably within an HE context as well as using timetabling software.  An understanding of how timetabling contributes to the student experience and also effective space utilisation will be an advantage.
