The Department 

This post within the Research & Enterprise Operations Department requires the ability to lead initiatives that grow Knowledge Exchange and business engagement across the University, in line with the Universities strategic plan. 

The Role 

We are looking for an Event Sales and Marketing Coordinator to support the West London Venues team. The role will involve engaging with external stakeholders including event planners, training companies, film location managers and a range of existing clients.

The postholder will support the team with taking initial event enquiries, helping with the planning, management and after support of events. They will also post content regular via our Social Media channels to promote facilities across the University to prospective clients.

The Person 

The successful candidate will have an outgoing and friendly character and will be able to provide external stakeholders with a high level of customer service. Someone who can react to and solve problems quickly and to look out for commercial opportunities. You will offer creative opportunities for Social Media marketing while also working with the central marketing team on other campaigns. Excellent verbal and written communication, time management and customer service skills for vital to be successful in this role. 

Due to the nature of the role out of hours work may be required, including evenings and weekends.
