The Department
The Finance Department supports the University’s strategy to enhance the student experience by delivering financial sustainability through financial leadership, strategic planning and informed procurement. We ensure the long-term financial sustainably of UWL, maximising efficiency and effectiveness of available resources. The University of West London has won the award for ‘Outstanding Financial Performance’ at ‘The Times Higher Education Awards’ 2019.
The Role
The Finance Officer and Procurement Assistant will be responsible for the planning and organising, the banking and reconciliation and assist with any enterprise commercial activities, student accommodation and procurement.
The Person
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent, have knowledge of financial systems and other higher education account systems, pay attention to detail and be able to multi-task and work with all levels of the organisation.
