The Department
The Global Partnerships Office is a dynamic team which supports the University’s UK and international partnership activity, a key component of the University’s current strategic plan. The Global Partnerships Office co-ordinates the relationship between our partners and key University stakeholders and supports a wide range of activities including partnership development and approval, monitoring, legal matters and student experience.
The Role
The key focus of this role is to manage and co-ordinate key activities relating to the assurance of academic quality and standards across the University’s academic partnerships in the UK and overseas. This includes acting as a key source of expert advice on the University’s quality assurance arrangements for our partners and to oversee and support academic partnership monitoring activities, including Annual Partnership Reviews and Partnership Contract Reviews.
The Person
The postholder will have extensive prior experience of working for an FE or HE educational provider in a HE quality assurance role. The postholder will also have a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the UK Higher Education regulatory framework and academic partnerships operations. The postholder will also be able to build positive relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and at all levels within an organisation.
