UWL has partnered with three other HEI’s and an international integrator to deliver a major new apprenticeship programme for a London based employer.
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager on a 12 month contract. This role will take responsibility for the delivery of the UWL services and infrastructure required. A key activity will be to liaise with and support UWL staff in their development of the end to end processes required to deliver a major apprenticeship program commencing in the first week of January 2020.
The Project Manager will work with senior stakeholders to put in place all aspects of UWL solution; the technology, business processes and infrastructure. This will encompass working with all professional service departments and academic schools to develop and deploy processes and technology that can work alongside existing facilities to provide the required educational services.
The Project Manager to provide day-to-day management for the UWL project.  This will involve working closely with the integrator and other HEIs, driving successful UWL delivery through scoping, shaping, managing risks and issues, stakeholder’s expectations, benefits realisation and establishing plans laying out a clear way forward. At times this role may need to work as a Business Analyst to help define and develop specific services for the programme
The role is therefore a senior one with broad scope and requires strategic thinking with excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, dynamic individual with a flexible approach to work, a strong desire for quality and a keen attention to detail.
