We are looking for an experienced nurse lecturer who has a keen interest in contributing to the professional, academic, research and scholarly development of the college. You will primarily contribute to the delivery of the nursing associate course but will also have some involvement in the delivery of pre-registration and post registration nursing courses within the College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare.
The role also requires practice visits to support students with their supervisors and also undertake a pastoral role as personal tutor to a cohort of students, for the duration of the course.
You will deliver innovative teaching, learning and assessment strategies that enhance student learning, as well as participating in necessary administrative responsibilities and quality assurance processes within the college. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with students, the teaching team and our support and technical staff. You will also be responsible for taking a lead on the development and management of the nursing associate course which ensures NMC compliance and adherence to apprenticeship regulations.
