The College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare (CNMH) delivers pre-registration Nursing and Nursing Associate courses and apprenticeship (NMC approved) across Berkshire and London. We partner with a large number of health organisations in London and Berkshire.

We are seeking part-time nursing hourly paid lecturers (HPL’s) to teach across our pre-registration nursing and nursing associate provision during weekdays (delivery is a blend of mainly face-to-face with some online sessions, with the opportunity to support simulated learning sessions):

Face to Face teaching takes place across our campuses in London and Reading:

Candidates must have a first degree and ideally a higher degree/PhD in a relevant subject area. They will be registered with the NMC as a qualified Adult, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities or Children’s Nurse. Previous experience of teaching in a higher education environment would be an advantage, together with experience of using engaging approaches to support teaching, learning and assessment.

Teaching for the new academic year (2021/2022) will commence in early October.  Successful candidates will initially be placed on HPL our register and will be contacted should suitable hours become available. Please note, the number of hours taught varies considerably and will depend upon the needs of the subject team and your availability.
