The University of West London is a leading modern university specialising in the education and development of creative, business and service professionals.

An opportunity has arisen for a visionary, dynamic, and innovative educator to join our team of dedicated academics and technicians in supporting the development and delivery of Simulation and Immersive Technologies within courses in nursing and healthcare at UG and PG level.

The Department

The academic team, together with the support of administrative and technical staff, deliver programmes to a wide variety of courses including Nursing at Pre and Post registration, Nursing Associate, Midwifery Social Work, Paramedics, Operating Department Practitioners and Health Promotion and Public Health across our London and Reading campuses. Essential to this position will be the ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with departments within the University and with our Practice Learning Partners in Berkshire, North Hampshire, Surrey, and West London.

The Role

Candidates will need to demonstrate highly effective interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with students, other academics, clinical practitioners, and with support and technical staff. You will be expected contribute to the development and delivery of learning material that is relevant, innovative, evidence-based and current, in order to maintain the high quality of learning and teaching associated with the college. Applicants must hold a current registration with the NMC.
