The University of West London (UWL) is a leading modern university, specialising in the education and development of exceptional creative, business and service professionals.

An opportunity has arisen for a Funding and Scholarships Administrator to work within the busy Student Services department. 

The main purpose of this role is to work within a team to provide an excellent customer service to students and staff, with particular emphasis on the administration of the Student Financial Support Funds and Scholarships for further and higher education students. 

Much of the day to day work will be handling enquiries, administration of the University’s hardship funds and assisting students with face to face, telephone and email enquiries. 

Applicants must have excellent I.T. skills, financial knowledge, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with confidential information with discretion.

In addition, the successful candidate will have experience of working in a customer facing ‘front line’ service and an understanding of the Higher Education environment, in particular, the role of Student Services provision.

This is a full-time appointment requiring a flexible approach to working hours covering evenings and weekends to support the students throughout the year.

Please be advised that it is expected that appointment within a grade will normally be at the minimum point.
