Diversity and Equality of Opportunity

The University is committed to promoting equality and diversity   In order to enable us to monitor effectiveness of our policies we would like to ask for your co-operation in completing the Equal Opportunities section.  The information provided within this section will not be available to short-listing panels, but it will assist the Human Resources Team in analysing the response to our recruitment campaign and in developing policies that will attract groups who are currently under-represented within the University to apply for posts with us.

The University is a holder of the disability symbol (two ticks). One of the University’s commitments as a holder of this symbol is to guarantee an interview to all disabled applicants.

Issues of equality do not stop once you have joined the University, but continue in the form of supporting your personal development while you are with us.

We hope you will recognise the value of these principles and provide us with the information requested.
