In registering to the Jobs at the University of West London's website you undertake to provide accurate and up to date information about yourself, including your name, address and any other requested information.
If you knowingly make any false statements or withhold any relevant information, this may result in the withdrawal of any offer of appointment. If the University retrospectively discovers that false information has been provided or relevant information has been withheld this may affect any continued employment.
The University cannot be held liable for delays to applications resulting from failures of the system outside its direct control.

All data will be collected, processed, and held securely in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.
The personal data that the University of West London collects about you will be used for the purposes of processing your application and for the compilation of anonymous statistics. If your application is successful it will be used to form the basis of your employment record.
Data will only be disclosed to third parties if necessary, for example to conduct referencing, or to ascertain accuracy; or if there is a legitimate, statutory right to the information.
A basic record of candidates who applied for roles with the University will be retained on our systems for six months and deleted thereafter.
“Special category data” as defined in GDPR is collected for the purpose of monitoring the effectiveness of the University’s Equal Opportunities Policy and to provide anonymised statistical reports. This data is not used in the recruitment decision-making process.
