          <title><![CDATA[Visiting Tutor in TU Education - Ruskin College (RUSK14)]]></title>

            <p id="isPasted" style="text-align: justify;"><strong>What is Ruskin College?&nbsp;</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Ruskin College was founded in 1899 to provide education for working class adults.&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Our mission is to provide the best level of education and inclusion opportunities to adults &ndash; particularly those who may be excluded or disadvantaged &ndash; and to transform the individuals concerned along with the communities, groups and societies from which they came. In 2022 the college became part of the University of West London group. At Ruskin we have students from entry level to undergraduate studying a range of subjects. This includes over 2000 students per year on our Trade Union programmes. &nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>The Department &nbsp;</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Ruskin College has been working closely with the Union movement for over 100 years. These courses are delivered on online, blended and in person classroom-based at employer sites across London, the South East and East Anglia, but organised from Ruskin.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>The Role &nbsp;</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>The Core Purpose of the Post:</strong></p><ul><li style="text-align: justify;">Teach on online, blended and in person classroom-based TU Education.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Complete assessments and feedback for students.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Actively promote programmes to increase student recruitment.</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Comply with all quality assurance and improvement processes.</li></ul><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Main Responsibilities:</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;">1. Teach on courses within Trade Union Education.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">2. Undertake the monitoring and evaluation of course programmes including seeking student feedback at different stages of the course, in order to ensure improvements in quality.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">3. Keep accurate records including registers, student attendance, records of work, student reports and student assessment outcomes.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">4. Undertake the associated administrative aspects of the courses and programmes.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">5. Be accountable for quality assurance and improvement on all courses taught.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">6. Carry out teaching and administrative duties in accordance with College&rsquo;s quality standards.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">7.
